Most good campsites will not allow a single-sex group of people to use their facilities and I certainly wouldn’t wish to find myself on a camp site next to 4 teenage boys.
The cheapest you’ll find but still quality camp-site in Cornwall is a place in a little village called St. Stephen, it’s roughly 7 miles from The Eden project at St. Austell which is must visit place while you’re in Cornwall, that being close to St. Austell Bay.
I doubt you will find a campsite down here that will allow a group of 16 year olds to camp alone, without adult supervision. Most people have a holiday to get some much earned rest from their jobs, and wouldn’t put up with a bunch of noisy 16 year olds nearby, keeping them awake all night. However, you might want to try a youth hostel, where you would be properly supervised.
I am amazed that your parents would allow a group of 16 year olds to holiday alone. I certainly wouldn’t let a 16 year old of mine to!!!!!!!

The HENDRA TOURIST PARK it’s about 5 mins outside Newquay.Had some great times there.
